How to Make Your Charm Jewelry 💕

Before You Start: Lay out your chain and charms first. Move them around until you like how everything looks.

Take your time. You can move the charms around before you close the rings.

Lay your chain flat. Place your charms where you want them.

For a necklace, start with your favorite charm in the center.

Tip: Don't attach anything yet. First, make sure you like the layout.

Hold the small round ring with two pliers.

Twist one side toward you and the other side away from you.

Important: Twist the ring sideways. Do not pull the ring apart.

Slide the charm onto the open jump ring.

Keep the jump ring open for the next step.

Slide the open jump ring through the chain link where you want your charm.

Make sure both the charm and chain are inside the ring.

Use both pliers to twist the jump ring closed.

The two ends should touch with no gap.

Check It: A closed ring helps keep your charm from falling off.

Add the rest of your charms the same way.

Look at the piece as you go. Move to a different chain link if a charm feels too close or too far away.

Easy Trick: Count the chain links between charms if you want even spacing.
