Pretty Pickie Boutique's Jewelry Sizing Guide: Find Your Perfect Fit!

At Pretty Pickie Boutique, we want your jewelry to be more than just an accessory – we want it to feel like an extension of you. But achieving that perfect feeling starts with ensuring the right size. This guide will walk you through measuring your fingers and wrists for both rings and bracelets, so you can shop with confidence!

Ring Sizing:

  • What you'll need: A strip of paper, a pen, a ruler (in millimeters is ideal, but centimeters work too!), and a ring size chart (like the one we've included below!).

  • Step 1: Wrap it Up! Take your strip of paper and comfortably wrap it around the base of your finger where the ring will sit. Make sure it's not too loose or too tight.

  • Step 2: Mark the Spot. With the pen, gently mark the spot on the paper where the two ends meet.

  • Step 3: Unwrap and Measure. Carefully unwrap the paper strip and lay it flat on your ruler. Measure the distance between the two marks you made in millimeters.

  • Step 4: Find Your Size! Now, refer to our ring size chart below. Match the measurement you obtained in step 3 to the closest millimeter range. That's your ring size!

Ring Size Chart (in millimeters):

Size Millimeters
4 40.0 - 41.9
5 42.0 - 43.9
6 44.0 - 45.9
7 46.0 - 47.9
8 48.0 - 49.9
9 50.0 - 51.9
10 52.0 - 53.9
11 54.0 - 55.9

Bracelet Sizing:

  • What you'll need: A flexible measuring tape or a piece of string and a ruler (in millimeters is ideal, but centimeters work too!).

  • Step 1: Measure Your Wrist. Wrap the measuring tape or string comfortably around your wrist where you want the bracelet to sit. Make sure it's not too loose or too tight. If you're using string, mark the spot on the string that completes the circle around your wrist.

  • Step 2: Noting the Measurement. If you used a measuring tape, simply note the measurement in millimeters. If you used string, carefully unwrap the string and lay it flat on your ruler. Measure the distance between the mark you made and the end of the string in millimeters.

  • Step 3: Understanding Bracelet Size. Unlike ring sizes, bracelet sizes take into account how the bracelet needs to fit over your hand. Consider how you like your bracelets to fit: snug, comfortable, or loose. Here's a general guide:

    • Snug Fit: Add 10-15 millimeters to your wrist measurement.
    • Comfort Fit: Add 15-20 millimeters to your wrist measurement.
    • Loose Fit: Add 20-25 millimeters to your wrist measurement.

  • Our guide is here to help, but if you're ever unsure about sizing, don't hesitate to contact us at Pretty Pickie Boutique! We're happy to offer personalized assistance.
  • Finger and wrist sizes can vary slightly between hands, so consider measuring both if you're unsure of which one you'll wear the jewelry on primarily.
  • Throughout the day, your fingers and wrists can fluctuate slightly in size. Ideally, measure yourself towards the end of the day when your fingers and wrists are likely at their most relaxed size.

With this guide and a little practice, you'll be a jewelry sizing pro in no time! Now get out there and find the perfect piece of Pretty Pickie Boutique jewelry that complements your unique style.
